EXID to make Korean comeback


Following the viral hit "Up & Down", girl group EXID has confirmed a comeback for April 13.

The new teaser consists of popular member HANI is seen staring sexily into the camera. Hoping for more success, EXID will be back with individual teasers.

TRITOPS Korean Comeback



TRITOPS is a beloved Korean ballad group under the management of Simtong Entertaintament (GLOBAL ICON), well known for their impeccable vocals, exquisite harmony and emotive performances. Although they have been mainly promoting in Japan lately, they have just announced their new Korean come back!

Little is known as of yet, but we only have to wait three days.

RED VELVET's First Win


Rookie girl group RED VELVET seem to be taking the industry by storm. Just a few days ago at Music Bank, their landed their first win only eight months after debut. They thank their fans tearily, saying that, "After releasing just a digital single, we are now selling our first album. We believe we've risen up to this spot because our many fans liked it; we feel very honored. We are so thankful."

SISTAR to perform for Malaysian Sultan


Girl group SISTAR have recently taken a photo with the Malaysian princess. SISTAR are one of the acts to perform for the coronation festival for Malaysia's Sultan. 

With a rumoured 8000 people coming to the performance, it's no doubt that SISTAR's sexy heat is being felt all the way across Asia. 

Together with Malaysian performers and other foreign acts, SISTAR continue to spread Hallyu around the world. 

EXO finally bring us their 'EXODUS'



Almost a year since their last comeback the ultra hot Idol Group, EXO, has finally announced their official comeback to the music scene with their 2nd full length album, EXODUS.

Earlier today their company, SM Entertainment, uploaded a video onto their YouTube channel of the member, Kai, strolling around the streets of London. In the video several clues were given for fans to decipher EXO's full concept for this comeback.

One being the opening of the twitter account, @PathcodeExo, which tweeted two questions today, and the answers to those questions unlocked all of Kai's teaser images on the EXO website. Another hint to EXO's concept is their logo. It appears to say EXO at first glance, but if you look a bit harder it also forms the shape of a cube. All the hidden meanings and imagery have sent fans into a frenzy, but this does nothing but hype up this highly anticipated comeback.

A teaser will be released every day until their comeback which will be on March 30th. Fans can expect to hear all the songs they performed at their EXO'LUXION concerts the past two weeks such as "El Dorado", "EXODUS", and "Call Me Baby". Stay tuned for more updates here at Trending Hallyu.

 

Catch GIRLS' GENERATION



GIRLS’ GENERATION tease fans with a teaser image for their upcoming Japanese single, “Catch Me If You Can”. The single will be released April 22nd, and will be their first comeback as an 8 member group.
The image shows the 8 girls in fitted cargo pants, ripped up white crop tops, and black combats boots, showing us they’re going for a military concept this time.
The song is said to have a strong EDM beat and the dance scenes are a must see! The CD also will come with a mid-tempo ballad called “Girls”.
 Fans are also realizing the hashtag, #CatchGG, which was announced back in early December ties in with the new single.
